Microsoft Frontpage - The Basics
Microsoft FrontPage is a user-friendly and relatively powerful WYSIWYG webpage editor (meaning, what you see is what you get). Georgetown University offers classes on FrontPage. If you are interested in signing up for these FREE courses, go to http://data.georgetown.edu/training. This page is designed to be a supplement to this training course and to provide beginning web page designers a feel for the basics of the program. After completing all of the segments of this FrontPage guide, you will be equipped to create a website and add text, images, links, and tables.

Microsoft FrontPage Tutorials
Each of the FrontPage tutorials is designed as two Modules. In the first Module, you'll learn how to create a single web page - including a picture, colored background, animation, sound, and hyperlinks. In the second Module you'll learn how create a multiple-page website with special themes, links and buttons. The individual areas, covered in each Module, are furnished below. All of the tutorials follow the same theme. This is purposeful. It was felt that, as a person progressed to newer versions of FrontPage, having the same tutorial theme would make them more comfortable with learning the material. Each succeeding tutorial is enhanced to incorporate new features in FrontPage and respond to added features requested by users.
